Excellence in teaching

UoE has competence in training for students, employees and professionals both in the business and public sector. UoE has a broad research network and LABS which are used also to enhance the output of research activities. Some of the courses already in place are: Competences in scientific presentations;  Sustainability Goals; Digitalization.

The University was the second university to be founded in Portugal. The university hosts around 8,000 students and has over 600 academic and non-academic staff.
